1 Ok. This is one of the easiest ways to be a part of the site. Transcribe an episode, type it up and send it to us. It really is that simple. The only proviso is that the transcribe is dialect correct. i.e. if Brenda says "gotta" or "oi" then that's how you type it rather then "got to"  or "excuse me". Also if you could include a brief description of each scene at the scene change. Ok there are only 56 to do (mind 2 of them are double length).

2 If you have read the "Writing" section you will see that Watching started out as a ten minute comedy piece Jim wrote at a Liverpool Everyman Theatre workshop.

Do you know anything about these workshops? Have you attended one. Did you attend the same one as Jim? If so let us know.

3 If you read the "Conceiving" section you will note that Jim submitted this piece as a sketch to the BBC show "Not The Nine O'Clock News".

4 Jim developed the idea into a stage play first. It was performed at "The Bush Theatre" in London in 1986. Some information is flowing to us on this (many thanks to the theatre), but we could do with more.

5 Who is this?

This "extra" features extremely often throughout the whole series. He is the first person Malcolm speaks to (although he replies, we don't hear him).
You can see him in the background in the pub very often. The actor though is uncredited.

We would like to give him the credit he didn't get. Do you know him? Is it you?? If so then get in touch.
